Chicago Heights■ Surmayne Collins, 19, 331 N. Concord Drive, Chicago Heights, was charged with possession of cannabis about 4:30 p.m. March 18, in the 300 block of North Concord Drive, police said.Collins was standing outside with a group of about 15 to 20 men, w hen police drove by and asked themto leave, according to reports.When police returned about 20 minutes later, the men still were standing there, police said.The officers then exited their vehicle and the men in the group fled.However, police caught three of the men andbrought them to the police department for gang loitering, police said.The officers then found two bags containing about three grams of alleged cannabis in the possession of Collins, police said.
