Nunes, 18, of 1323 Seven Pines Road in Schaumburg, were arrested Tuesday after an employee of the Speedway Gas Station at 1349 W. Irving Park Road told police that the two men entered the station at about 10 p.m. Sunday and demanded money from the cash register, said Detective Scott Heher.Hodorowich was wearing a nylon stocking over his head and was carrying a tire iron, Heher said. When the employee slammed the register shut and locked it instead of handing over the money,Hodorowich allegedly slammedthe tire iron on the counter andbeen fired recently from the store, Heher said. The teensthreatened the employee, Heher then told the employee that theSalu.robberyopenNunes then went around the ee s boss called police the nextday.Both were charged with attempted theft and disorderly conduct. Additionally, Hodorowich was charged with criminal damage to property, criminal trespass The employee then recognized and aggravated assault.
