Chicago St., Joliet; the other the Galaxy Bowl, Crest Hill, fire. Both alleged arsons occurred in 1987.Tezak has entered not guilty pleas on all chargesTwo others charged in the Galaxy Bowl fire have pleaded guilty.Stephen Kezerle, now in prison for unrelated offenses, was charged with Tezak late last year in the highly publicized PIC blaze. According toWill County State’s Attorney James Glasgow in a December 1992 interview, Kezerle will stand trial on aggravated criminal sexual assault charges involving minors and is now serving time on drug charges. On Thursday, Dean Polales, assistant U.S. attorney, told Anderson that “Kezerle will plead,” referring to the PIC blaze.Anderson said he wants to push the case forward.“Mr. Tezak is now in a ‘not guilty’ adversarial position,” Anderson said.“The sooner we get the Kezerle matter handled, the easier it will be to get Mr. Tezak to evaluate hiscase.”Anderson said he would rule on Lombardi’s motion for dismissal and on other discovery motions and set the next court date for 10 a.m., April 1.Lombardi, meanwhile, said he does not know where Tezak is staying. When asked if Tezak is likely to seek some sort of plea agreement, Lombardi said he could not comment.
