I who walked away from a special j work detail at the Ohio Penitentiary where he was serving a life term for murder. ;Jett was sentenced to the pen-itentary in the November, 1966. 1 beating death of Betty Fawles of Springfield. Authorities said he was believed to have been i .seen driving a black station j wagon after his escape Monday.
