Ellen Miller.Mrs. Ellen Miller, wife of Mr. Nels Miller, corner of Smith and Adams streets, died at one o’clock this morn* ing. Mrs. Miller was widely known as an excellent physician and midwife, she haying received part of her education in Sweden and part in this country. Many earnest friends will mourn her unexpected demise. She has been a faithful, hardworking member of the Swedish Lutheran church for nearly twenty years. The poor fcnd the needy always found in her a warm friend, and many times she has supplied an empty cupboard and an empty wardrobe from her own not wealthy but comfortable home. She was born in Christianstad, Sweden, March 9, 1841. She came to this country with her husband in 1869. He, together with four grown children, Ernst,Nels, Ellen and Molly, are left to mourn her loss. Mr. Nils Andersen, the county recorder, is a brother of the deceased. The funeral will take place Thursday afternoon at two o’clock, from the Swedish Lutheran church.
