The woman was the reputed wife of Wycoff, but she deserted him and became the paramour of Lyons. Sometime last fall Wycoff mode his appearance in Dayton, became an inmate in the tavern of Lyons, and suddenly died. The day after this'cvent Lyons married the woman and they, in a few days more, became parents. Suspicion was excited, but whether the jury had further evidence on which to find tbeir charge, we have not heard. Immediately after the indictment was found the sheriff arrested them and furnished them with a room in the jail, which they will jointly occupy until they have a trial.—£a-fagtite Jour*Am
