isuuon Kegister.Following the circulation ot the nows ot the Spring rancbe Ivnchmg, a meeting of law abiding citizens was called at tlie Opera house Tuesday evening to discuss the mailer in its bearings upon law and order and the good repute of Clay county. Marion Brown was made ehaii man of the meeting and F. C. Matihewsou secretary. Remarks were made by R, G, Brown, R. S. Silver and others. ” Those present unanimously en-■ dorsad the following resolutions:Whkheas, %Ye tho fivizons ot Sutton, learn with horror and indignation of the lynching of Mrs. Elizabeth Taylor and Thomas Jones in Spring Ranch pre-. emct. Clay county.
