________________THURSDAY, MARCH 21, 2002 ABSalina man arrested in connection with fire deathBy The Associated PressAUGUSTA - Authorities have arrested a woman and her boyfriend in the death of the woman's mother, Butler County authorities saidWednesday.Patricia Self, 47, was found dead Tuesday morning in her Augusta home, which had been destroyed by fire.Her daughter, .Jennifer Self, 19, and .Jennifers boyfriend, Joshua Robertson. 21. Salina, each were charged Wednesday with first-degree murder or, in the alternative, aiding a n (i a b e 11 i n g f i r s t • d o g r e e m u r-der; aggravated arson, or. inthe alternative, aiding and abetting aggravated arson; and aggravated burglary or, in the alternative, aiding and abetting aggravated burglary.Investigators have not determined the cause and origin of the fire at Self's home two miles oast of Augusta.Augusta Department of Safety Director David Pate said Self’s home was in flames when rescuers arrived early Tuesday The fire was extinguished in less than an hour.After the heat and smoke subsided, rescuers entered the home and found Self’s body, Pate said.
