He was for a considerable period lecturer on nervous diseases at the Polyclinic Post-Graduate School,In one case in which Dr, Ingram appeared as an expert on insanity, the iearnei counsel for the other 5tde tried to discredit histestimony by remarking on his youthful appearance.“Dr. Ingram,” said he, --you assume considerable authority for one so young. How many Oases of insanity do you suppose you have ever seen in your life?”The answer was: ,4It would ha impossible to se.y how many cases I have seen—but I can say that I have carefully studied over eight thousand cases of lunacy”—and his testimony was not discredited.Dr. Ingram was not married. His mother is still living, and be has two brothers and a sister in Indiana. Arrangements for the funeral will not bo completed until thoir wishes are known.
