Parolee brags of killingsDALLAS (AP) — Shortly after an elderly couple active in the civil rights movement were found stabbed to death in a home blocks away, parolee Kenneth Thomas bragged about committing the slaying, family members said.“He said, ‘I killed those people, and I ain’t through yet,’” claimed his older brother BillyThomas, 27. “He said, ‘Those people can’t talk. Dead folks can’t talk.* He threatened me. He threatened everybody here. ’ ’Kenneth Thomas, 25, who recently had left a special home for problem parolees, was arrested Tuesday night in connection with the murder of Fred Finch Jr., 66, and his wife, Mildred, 64. Kenneth Thomas was being held Wednesday at Lew Sterrett Justice Center in lieu of $100,000 bond on two charges of capital murder.
