Three juveniles apprehended after crashThree juveniles were picked up Saturday at 11 p m. by Sheriff Dale MaCurdy after they reportedly ran over two mail boxes at the Evan Lantz residence on C.R. 200-N, the Crooked Road from Flora to Delphi.The trio, two Delphi boys ages 14 and 16 and a 17-year old Tippecanoe County girl, were apprehended on the Dayton Road near St. Joseph CatholicCemetery.)They were charged with illegalconsumption and released onjuvenile bond to their parents. The headlight was knocked out ofthe car.The 14-year-old youth reportedly was driving the car belonging to the girl. The vehicle was improperly registered and impounded pending properregistration.The Sheriff was assisted byDelphi City Police.The 1971 vehicle driven Sunday at 1 a.m. by Charles Major Goetz Jr., 19, of Rt. 2, Monticello, was damaged $1,000 in a one-caraccident.Goetz was westbound on C.R. 800-N when he reportedly ran off the roadway on the north side because of the snow and slick road. He reported that he returned onto the roadway and his tires cut too sharp to the left and the Vehicle veered to the left and ran of the road on the south side and hit a utility pole. 9Here and ThereLance C. Menk, 53, of Rt. 6, Monticello, was arrested for driving under the influence of intoxicating liquor after going off Bicycle Road, a fifth of a mile from C.R. 950-W, in his 1972pickup truck. .,He was traveling east on Bicycle Bridge Road when he went off the south side of the road and through a fence and into a field owned by Lloyd Anderson ofRt. 2, Delphi.Menk apparently tried to drive back through the fence and onto the roadway without success. He traveled about 201 feet after leaving the roadway.Damage to the truck was estimated at $650, while the damage to the fence was set at$75.According to County Police Officer Lee Hoard who investigated the accident which occurred at 10:35 p.m. March 12th, Menk received a lacerationon the lip.CROP goes forMrs. Paul Julien Dolnhi 564-2062
