CAUGHT AMOS DUNCANSt. Louis Negro Who Killed a Saloon Keeper Sunday, Was Arrested In Moberly.Amos Duncan, a negro, was arrested last night by Chiof of Police Hinton and Officers Marshall and Mi fee. Duncan is wanted for the murder of John Jones, a ^ negro saloon keeper of St. Louis.When arrested, Duncan was on Wabash passenger train No. 1, north bound. He was going to Des Moines. He made no resistance when approached by the of-fleers.In Chief Hinton's office this morning, Duncan admitted ho killed Jones. He said Jones was’ trying to reach his gun when lie shot him. The murder occurred in the 'Missouri Negro Republican Club, at Twenty-Third and Chcs-nut streets.An officer from St. Louis will come after Duncan today.
