Va., March 20—After a fight at liurning springs recently, in which two railroad contractors and five Italian laborer* participated, the ralian government through its Consul General at New York complained to Governor »Vhite that Italian subj« cts were being maltreated.Th( Governor Instructed the State I^abor Commissioner to make a per-onal invlt; «jigatloji and he has found that there Is no ground fur Federal or State interference, i here was simply a fight and all the participants, both American and tlatlan, were held for the grand jury on charges of assault and battery.
