A tavern violation charge was transferred from husband to wife today after authorities learnedthey had the wrong defendant.The charge, obstructing the view of a tavern interior after closing hours, was filed against Mrs. Ann DeMicchi, West 52nd St. Her husband. Fred DeMicchi appeared in county court this morning to face the charge, but his attorney stated that he wasnot the licensee.! So Asst. Dist. Atty Frank Shannon asked that the count against ; DeMicchi be dismissed. CountyJudge W. W. Davis did so. ThenShannon had the charge trans-5 ferred to Mrs. DeMicchi, the li-' censee.
