FINDING NEW CLUES INMARTINS STORE ROBBERYSome new evidences were brought to light last week in the Martin’s Cash Store robbery which occurred last October. From among the new clus we are permitted at this time totell of the finding of the high-• ♦powered rifle, which was stolen from the office of the store, and which had been cached under a bridge between here and Vandalia. It was rusted beyond all hope of repair. While not much has been said about the robbery since its occurrence, nevertheless atcive work has been going on, constantly gaining a bit of evidence here and a bit there, with the intent that when sufficient and conslusive evidence is completed some one is going to pay the full penalty for the vandalism, and from the way the evidence is now being shaped up, it is beginning to look as though theefficient law enforcement officers working on the case might complete their job at any time reasonably soon.
