Baker Gefs Longer Jail Term TodayWilliam Baker. 50. who Saturday completed a 10-day jail term for contempt of court because he ignored a court order not to bother his estrangtd wife at her home, todav was sentenced to 30 da vs in the county jail on a disorderly conduct charge growing out ot another visit to the home at 634 Messer St.Judge George A. Richards said the new term will be served at hard labor and Baker will not be permitted to serve it under provisions of the Huber act.Rhinelander police were called to the Baker home at 2:05 a.m. Sunday, it was reported, when Baker visited the residence uninvited.In the only other action today. Norman Caudill of Eagle River was fined $25 each on two charges of issuing worthless checks, totaling $91.10. to Lakeland Liquor Co. here Jan. 14 and Feb. 8. The complaint was signed by William G. Hyland. Caudill has made restitution, the court was told.
