Man Suffers Knife Wound at DresserA 22-year-old father of four children wag recovering last night from a knife wound inflicted by an assailant in Dresser at 8:35 o'clock yesterday evening, sheriff's deputies reported.Tom Jefferies, 3209 North Thirty-fifth Street, told Deputy Sheriffs Jim McKinney and Ken Kirehner that he was walking between two taverns in Dresser when he was attacked by a man and was knifed after he was knocked to the ground. The victim could give no reason for the attack, police said.Attendants-at St. Anthony Hospital reported last night that the victim suffered a severe wound from a sharp instrument in his lower left abdomen and was in“fair” condition.
