N. Norris* then his ; guardian, resulted in her removal,! and the appointment of Deputy County Clerk Zimmerman as her 1 successor. Delivery of the oil stock which had been sent lo Chicago by , Norris for transfer to his own name was held up at the instance of judge Charles W. Jensen when he named the new guardian.Failure of Norris to gain cont-iol of his oil stock resulted in a flare-up on his part against Judge Jensen, and officials planned his removal to the Great Lakes’ hospital.Deputy. Four squads of Evanston police searched every! part of the vicinity, but Norris had disappeared as if swallowedup by the earth.The local officials returned empty-handed to Valparaiso. One of the machine guns taken by America’s Public Enemy No. l, was the property of Porter county. It had been loaned to Lake county sheriff's office to guard the prisoner during his stay there.
