IIS FINALUJAPTUREDt Irving- W ilson, Who is Alleged to be Regular “Bad Man,'* is Arrested at Kellner. When Undersheriff Frank Kubisiak arrested Irving Wilson at Kellner,;, Wood county, last Thursday, he land-ed a regular “bad man, at least the authorities of this section of the state have had him classed as such for several months. The warrant on which Wilson was arrested charges him with the theft of a hay stack owned by Albert Sager of the town of Grant. The stack was in an out-of-the-way place some distance from Mr. Sager's home and mysteriously disappeared during the month of February. As it was valued at about §50, an investigation was begun and suspicion was directed toward Wilson. He pleaded not guilty when arraigned in Justice Park's court here last Friday and his hearing was adjourned to Friday of this week. In the meantime he is confined to the county jail, having failedto secure bail in the sum of §500.Wilson is the same man, it is stated, who last summer escaped from a Wood county officer who attempted to arrest him at Aimond. While the warrant charging larceny was being read to him, Wilson made a dash for freedom and managed to elude the officer and a small posse that was formed, although he received a bullet wound in his hand. It is said this trouble was later settled. At another time last summer Wilson was charged I with the destruction of some trees and Undersheriff Kubisiak went to the town of Lanark to get him. Wilson, however, saw the undersheriff coming, and “beat it.” He has been heard from several times since then, but not until last week were the authorities able to lay their hands on him.Wilson’s home is said to be in Adams county.
