Stanley. §pess refused to come io Indian Territory without ah order of law so was given a preliminary at Perry where he was held to the grand Jury of the Western district of Indian• « t iTerritory at Sapulpa under bond of |2,000. Stanley was brought here am* was held to the grand Jury by Judge Butterworth under the same bond as his “pal'’ and this afternoon was taken to the Muskogee Jail.Moffatt and Harlan were-cgptured by Teel after a hard chase near Blackburn, Oklahoma, a few weeks ago and are now In the Muskogee jail awaiting the action of the grand jury.In the breaking up of this band the officers have rid this country of a bad lot. The number of,horse6 they are charged with havipg stolen will probably reach into the hundreds. Three years ago, in a trial at Perry, Oklahoma, Stanley himself admitted having stolen o^€r fifty' horses.
