^ p.% £ iH gS^' . -^:-: f : : $'■' 1 'Rapist Ron Wissink sentenced to 2 0 yearsGREAT FALLS (AP) - A judg^ Tuesday resenteneed rapist Ronald Wissink to 20 years in prison, and fined him nearly $2,231State District Judge John McCarvel, who resentenced Wissink, had ordered him to pay the same amount last June McCarvel also handed down the same jail term last June.The Montana Supreme Court last week said Wissink should be resentenced, because McCarvel’s firstsentence ordered Wissink to pay the victim almost $1,731, plus $500 to the defense attorney.The high court overturned this, saying an inmate cannot be made to serve a sentenceand pay restitution at the same time The court said restitution may only be ordered as part of a suspended sentence or deferred sentence.So McCarvel simply assessed the same amount, but made it a fine He said the victim and the lawyer can recover the same amounts from the state.I MOVIES IMARCH 14-1}
