El Paso burst into tears.L Attorneys for Eugene Londos and ^ Adrian Dudley, the accused, argued that the outburst would affect the jury trying the case in which Mrs. Tmner contends Londos and Dudley bilked her of her life savings.However, Judge Hannay did not , specifically rule out the motion He held it in abeyance and ordered trial to continue.Mrs. Turner, 55. burst into tears and was unable to continue her testimony as the trial opened Monday. Judge Hannay Tuesday warned her against a further outburst.IMrs. Turner testified that Londos and Dudley involved her in a“fixed” race scheme while she was vacationing in Acapulco, Mexico, in 1954.She said they induced her to draw $22,500 from several California loan associations and pool the money with theirs to bet on the races. They claimed a profit of $203,600, she said.Mrs. Turner said Dudley and%»Londos. whom she knew by different names, gave her a draft for $205,600 and arranged to meet her in Houston to cash the draft and divide the profits. She said she ! came to Houston but Dudley and Londos failed to show.
