BURGLARS. * jFriday night tome robbers entered j Warner’, pail factory but carried! away nothing but a chisel. They aUo entered ]Warner’, office. From thence apparent- ( ly thev went to the store ot Keith Barr ,plumber., where they broke in and took a I jsoldering iron with which they forced lt;open the back door of the dry goods storekept by Mi.* E. G. Stoddard in the * me ] block, and carried off several dollar, worth of next 8tore *tt*ckedwas that of Waite Bros. Here they somehow enticed the watchdog to silence butmade so much noise that the attection of Policeman Ball was attracted and he immediately spied one of the robbers infront of a window.HeJdered him to surrender, but the man jumped trom sight and the two, for apparently there weie two, escaped through the back way, leaving a largeqflbitity of goods which had been prepared for confiscation.
