In memory of Nancy, wlfeof John Van Sandt, who wm born March St, 1798, and died May 8,18S'\2 John Van Handt was born Heptemner 23,1791; died at Mt. Pierpont. May 25.1947 ; native of Fleming County, Ky. In him Christianity had a living witness. He saw God as his Father and received every man as a brother. The cause of tbe poor, the widow, the orphan, and the opuressed was his own cause. He fed,clothed, sheltered,and guarded them. He was eyes to the blind and feet to tbe tame. He was a vender father, devoted husbaod, and friend to all.
