TWO JAILED AFTER SLAYING IN MiNGOMan and Woman Missing In Fatal Quarrel Over LiquorWILLIAMSON, Mar. 12—(AP)—Two more* persons were arrested today as .» result of a gun battle at Almwick, Mingo county, Monday night, in which two men were killed.Karl Cline, 18, and Maude Samson, 23, of near Almwick wereplaced in the Mingo county jail to await the outcome of an investigation, George Hardin was arrested shortlv after the shoot-ing in which Charles Maxwell and Riley Hardin were killed and Jefferson Hardin, cousin of Riley Hardin, was injured.Officers continued their search for James Wigo, and Ethel Hardin, also wanted in connection with the ease. Authorities believed the shooting was the result of a quarrel over liquor.
