f1 2 CLOUISVILLE, XAHCH 4-.MORE COUNTERFEITERS.On the evening of the 10th Feb. four men called at the house of Mr. Caplinger, tavern keeper, on the road from this to New-Castlc, two of whom wished to put lip for the night, and their horses were put out. Shortly after Mr. Ewing, likewise a tavern keeper, who lives eight miles from Mr. Caplinger, came after them with a ten dollar counterfeit note, which they had passed to him in payment of their bill, which they readily gave good notes for, giving Mr. Ewing one dollar for his trouble. This circumstance appeared to alarm them very much, and they wished to be off, expressing a fear of being apprehended. They request- \m ed Mr. Caplinger to place their saddles,' bridles, See. in such a situation as to be easily had, tnat they might get oft' without detection, if any person came to interrupt them. In a short time, however, one of them, bv the name of William Sanford, took up a pair of saddle bags and walked out, with an evident intention of clearing himself; but on Mr. Cap-linger’s taking hold of them and requesting him to leave them, he let go and left the house, leaving in the possession of Mr. Caplinger a horse, saddle, bridle, saddle bags, wrappers, spurs and outside socks ; he is about six feet high, stout made, and of a dark complexion. The other by the name of Benjamin Natty, is of a fair complexion with light sandy whiskers, and is about live feet nine inches nigh. They have in their possession one hundred dollar notes, of tiie Dayton Manufacturing Company; fifty dollar notes on the Bank of Chillicoth?; fifty cent tickets on the same, and ten dollar notes on the Lancaster Bank of Pennsylvania, all of them counterfeit. Two men passed a five dollar counterfeit note to Mr. Stewart, on the road to Cincinnati, near the Big Bone Lick, about the 12th ; probably they were a part of the same gang. This note is well executed.(c\SF.1fsa1cf1\(1ccVtcts\
