Station operator isshot during holdupWATERLOO, Iowa (UPI)—A service station attendant wasshot early today during a holdup at a gas station on U.S. 218 here.Authorities said Mark Covington, 24, Cedar Kails, was shot in the head about 3 a.m. while he was working at the Holiday Erickson Service Station. A man described as white and about 25 years old was being sought by police in connection with he holdup.Covington w^as listed in poor condition at a hospital.
