We clip the following from the Madison Democrat of the 11th instant. “The prisoner, Kuehni, is becoming very bashful. A few days ago, a couple ol ladies, who did not have an opportunity of seeing him in the court room, visited the jail, and when they appeared in the corridor, lie jumped into a hunk and covered himself tip with a blanket, the only part of his body visible being bis feet and the top of his head, and would not under any consul-; erulion show his face, lie is reported s\s being a model prisoner and is allowed the use of the corridor. The doors leading into each corridor have been , made more secure; and in case of a fire,; there is no doubt but what the fifty in-: mates would be cremated.
