For MurderD 1st. Judge Jnhn B. McManus Thursday sentenced David Tapia, 28, to 10 tu 50 years in stale prison for Ihe murder of Tony Prado Chapa, 24, at the Elbow Room Bar, 210 Second SW, last Oct.- 7.Tapia, of 514 Coal SW, was found guilty of second degree murder last week by a District Court jury which deliberated 30 minutes.Chapa, who was bartender at the Elbow Room, had been shot.Defense attorney CharlesDriscoll has indicated he will appeal the case.Prosecutor was Asst. Dist. Ally. Jack Love.
