UPPER SANDUSKY STIRREDMob Attacks Detectives Who Attempt to Establish Suspicion cf Rose Law Violations.A press dispatch from Upper Sandusky says: Considerable excitementprevails in this city to-night, and two Rose law detectives, Jerome Hostetter and Frank Fling, engaged by the county, are in danger. Crowds swarm the streets and the detectives are advised to leave to avoid injury. This afternoon the sleuths attempted to search the suit case of Albert Smith, whom the detectives accused of bootlegging. Smith resisted and was badly beaten. The detectives were arrested for assault with intent to kill, and a mob of several hundred formed, which attacked them as they were taken from jail to police court. One of the detectives was struck in the fuce and immediately drew a revolver, which caused the mob to fall back. Both detectives were bound over- to the grand jury and gave bail. The mob followed them to their hotel and was kept at hay by the detectives’ revolvers.
