Attacked at Upper Sandusky Altar Beating Suspect.Upper Sandusky, O., March 11. - | Two Rose law detectives, Jerome j llostetter and Frank Fling, are In danger of lynching here. Crowds swarm the streets and the detectives have been advised to leave the city to avoid injury. They attempted to search the suit case of Albert Smith, whom the detectives accused of bootlegging. Smith resisted and was badly beaten up. The detectives were arrested for assault with intent to kill and a mob of several hundred formed, which attacked them as they were, taken to police court. One of them was struck in the face and immediately drew a revolver, which caused the mob to fall back.They were bound over to the grand Jury, gave bail and were released. The mob followed them to their hotel and was kept at bay by the detectives’ revolvers.
