WAMED-OWNER FOR WATCHPolice Doubt' to Possession of Valuable Tiiiiepielt;‘e.Believing that a watch he was attempting, to sell when arrested last night by Patrolman Cy Chapman had been stolen from a Webb City residence, the police are holding a timepiece taken from the person of Ixgan Coker, a negro, In the hope that its owner may identify It. A pair of gold-rimmed glasses, also taken from the negro’s person, is likewise being held.The negro is said to have been employed by a transfer company In Webb City, and it is the belief of the police that the watch and glasses were taken from some residence where he was assisting In removing furniture. He was placed In jail pending investigation.Coker was recently arrested upon a charge of holding up Fred liaker, a Joplin man, and robbing him of $14. The holdup took place here, but Raker was unable to identify him as the highwayman.
