David Hendricaa Hissing.► . ■*FouNTAiNTOwy, Ixd, March 9. David Hendricks, a farmer, living four miles south of this town, has mysteriously disappeared. On last Thursday morning he went to Henry Gates’, near Carrollton, in Hancock county, and borrowed $400, giving a joint note signed by himself ai.d Wrn. Higdon. Mr Higdon was to receive half of the money. After receiving the money he left, taking the road towards home. The last seen of him ♦ •was on the road to Greenfield, which♦was iii contrary direction to his home. Since that day nothing has been seen or heard of him. His fatnilv and friends are in great trouble over thematter, fearing that he has been foullyidealt with. The matter is creating considerable excitement hereabouts.
