Nurse EntersGuilty Plea InSan Bernardinott1Julia E. Cummings, the 60-year-old nurse, yesterday entered a guilty plea before San Bernardino County superior Court Judge Archie D. Mitchell to $5,010 worth of grand theft and worthless check charges.She waived rights for an attorney and refused to apply for probation. She is scheduled for sentencing March 22.Nurse Cummings is a slight 85 pounds and stands 4 feet 11inches. She was extradited from Reno in late February and is in custody in County Jail in lieu of $5,000 bond.City police have stated she is also wanted for offenses allegedly committed in Northern California and Hawaii.Dist. Atty* Lowell E. Lathrop filed two separate informations against her in Superior Court. TCie first charges five counts ofgrand theft totaling $4,560, whichpolice reported was obtained last year by her claims that she gave extra services to deceased persons while they were in the hospital, She collected money from their survivors and also asked for loins from the victims, police reported.1(I
