The date for her hearing has not been set.The woman has been a familiar figure aboui town for a long time, and was formerly a part owner in the steamer Florence S, with Captain C. J. Smythe. She has been earning a living much of the time by selling cakes and pies from house t? house about the city.When asked concerning the case Inst night, Prof. Kr.owllon said that ■ he woman had been bothering him n a number of ways for a long time and that he put off making complaint about her ai long as it was possible, r.ving to her having a little girl depending upon her.
