Sophy Beckman has tiled a suit in the Circuit Court against Louis Hartman and the Hev. J. F. Hevringhouse, paator of the German M. E. church, to recover $5,000 damages for alleged slanderous ntterances made against her. Mrs. Beck-man filed a suit some months ago against Mr. Hartman, but the case was withdrawn.
