A. Wife Attempts to Kill Her Husband.Marshal Smith, who resides at 501 South East street, made nis appearance at the Surgical Institute on last Thursday morning to have a pistol ball wound in his left temple attended to. He stated that his wife’s little pistol had made the wound. He some days since filed a bill tor divorce, alleging incompatibility of temperament. His wife hearing oi this, on Wednesday night met her husband and saying that she would give him a divorce without waiting tor the law’s delay, fired her pistol, the ball striking near the left temple, but fortunately glancing off, without producing any very serious damage. If we were a Judge we do not think we should have any difficulty in deciding that Mr. and Mrs. Smith should be unhitched at once for both their own and the public’sbenefit.
