Man found sleeping in city mausoleumPolice arrested a 26-year old man for allegedly taking a nap in the wrong place.William Matthew Collins was found sleeping inside a mausoleum in the Key West Cemetery over the weekend, according to Key West police reports.Richard Knowles, the city’s sexton, called police at 8 a.m. Friday after he reportedly found Collins sleeping. He led Officer Kurt Stephens to the correct crypt.According to Stephens, Collins had apparently relieved himself in the structure as well.A check through police dispatchers revealed that Collins had been warned before by an officer not to trespass on the cemetery property.Police did not say how Collins got inside the mausoleum.He was arrested on thecharge of trespassing on property and trespassing in a structure and taken to the Monroe County Jail.
