K. GC. Shurick of Third and Page streets was held up and robbed at 9:80 last evening at Ninth and Page streets, according to his complaint to the police. His watch, fountain pen and $20 in cash were taken.Po lice searthed the vicinity: as soon 28 they received the report but found ne trace of the trig. Shurick said he got off a south bound San Pablo avenue car at Page street and at Tenth street realized he was being followed. A man came up behind him and placed a gun against his back. About the same time two other men turned into Page street from Ninth Street and one of there pulled Shurick's cap down over his eyes. He said he was commanded to’ throw up his hands and after his pockets had been ‘searched was told to walk straight ahead. “When he finally summed up courage to look back the trio had disappeared in the ‘darkness. .
