Willard's bill making.a life sentence 25 years has pawed the House. Allowing for good time a murderer can gel out after 15 year* aud 6 months confinement. It will Immediately release the followiug murderers: Bally, of Franklin county; Aston, of Martin county; Chrisenburg, of Owen county; ■cCreek, of Franklin eounty ■ Auder-son, of Rusb county all of whom have served 17 yean. The Jones' and Lowery would be released lo a few months. The bill is looked upon by some as a license for murder. It appears tbat these life men, many ofwbom have money, after having failed to secure a release lu any other manner, are to be turned loose on (be people by this lawless Legislature.
