Penalty Applies On Auto LicenseState Highway Patrol Starts Check of Automobiles In Operation,Tuesday was the last day on which to buy automobile tags for 1931 without penalty, Sheriff J. S. Johnson said today with no more extension of lime, and people who are no wdriving cars without .1931 license arc violating the motor vehicle law.A state highway patrol force bef/an a systematic chock of automobiles throughout the state today and will continue until all cars and trucks used this year will be licensed, Mr. Johnson said. Governor Parnell has extended the period five times since- January 10 without the penalty. [
