George L. Hanson was brought before the court Monday and created quite a commotion when asked it' lie had anything to say before the sentence of the law should be passed upon him with tears and inteuse grief, he plead for the court's leniency not so much on his own account lie said but for his wife and live small children who have no means of support and who would have to be taken care of by the county if he was placed iu the penitentiary. He was sentenced for one year for cutting with intent to wound.
