IUV ouuu.—Joseph Hartz, lately employed as a hostler in the C., B. Q. round house, was taken to the insane asylum at Mt. Pleasant by Deputy Sheriff Cunnmgham this afternoon. Hartz was taken violently insane yesterday, and was first taken to the hospital, from which he ran away during the evening. He was recaptured later on and kept carefully guarded until he was removed today. His father, Emil Hartz, committed suicide about twenty years ago by hanging himself while in jail, and insanity is said to run through the family. Hartz has always been a steady man and a hard worker.
