'' 'COURT OF COMMON PLEASAbortionist Amwted:Yesterday afternoon the Grand Jury returned an indictment, charging Mr* Caroline Walker, a well know® colored doctrees in this city, with haring by means of a nharp instrument procured an abortion upon the person of Mias Man- Hamilton on the 15th of November last. Mrs. Walker was arrested and brought into Court where be was required to give bond in the sum of $750 for her appearance when called on. She proffered her husband, Moses Walker, and Thomas Robinson aa surrcties which were accepted, bnt they afterwards being deemed insufficient she was rearrested, and Hezaleai Davis was added to the bond, and she waa rtleaned.
