Miami jury considering late of Candace Mossier, nephewB\ BEN FINKMIAMI, Fla (APi-The murder case of Candace Mossier and h.r nephew. Melvin Lane Powers — accused killers of her multi-millionaire husband. Jacques Mossier — was given to the jury Thursday on the 33rd day of their trial.Circuit Judge George Schulz sent the jury out at * 14 p m after three days of closing arguments by nine attorneys and instructed it to deliberate on a verdict until U pm He told the 12 men they could convict either or both defendants of first, second or third degree murder, or manslaughter. or they could find one or both innocent Circumstantial evidence, upon which the state's case was based, is as conclusive as direct evidence.
