Bridgeport Detective Gets It For Recovering the OnderdonkHorses,The members of the • Pfscataway Township Protective- Society have paid to George H. Arnold, the captain of detective bureau- at Bridgeport, Conn., $200, which was the reward offered foe the capture of the thieves and the recovery of the stolen horses of John B, Onderdonk, of the River Road. Mr. Onderdonk has also paid over a reward of $50 as his personal reward, and Irving L. Veghtc, who owned the wagon stolen, has paid to the captain a reward of $25.This makes a total of $275 received for the recovery of the thieves and property. Ab the thieves were also implicated in a number of other thefts in various parts of the country, the rewards will amount up to over $l/)6o, it is believed, quite profitable piece of business for the detective.The Piscataway township association has always been very prompt in paying its rewards, which it offers in good faith and without any strings attached to them. This association is but seldom bothered with thieves, as the knowing ones know enough to steer clear of it.
