The missing robes were later found in Gillette’s possessi n and hi* said he found them in theway.The other night the Peacemakers'club gave a chicken pie supper to raise funds to repair the Itakersvllle parsonage. Everybody was looking for wish-tames when an unknown man with nlong heard and all bundled up drove tipto the hall in a sleigh. Passing a package to one of the diners who went out to greet the stranger, the latter said: “Please pass toe contents around inside.” i The disguised person then drove sway, i The diner did as instructed and in a jlf fy President Gillette and his friends gotlafsv gathering up the printed slips.it is said that Mr. Gillette will offer a substantial reward for the apprehen-| aion and conviction of the party w ho slandered him.
