A« nothing could be proved against Mr. Monfiis he was discharged. The offense for which the suit was brought was committed on the15th of January, it being alleged by Munier; that pis that date, while at Bosiere, he was set upon by the three Monfiis boys, Joseph, Charles and Constant, and nearly killed, he having given them no provocation whatever.
