Alton police were told The brothers. Joseph C. Goodman, 26. of 3151 Lawn St., and Ravmond N. Goodman. 29. of 2061 Hickory St , told police they had just left a tavern in the 500 block of Belle when the man opened fire.The Goodmans said the assailant fired four shots — oneAlton EveningTelegraphstriking Joseph in the right hip and another hitting Raymond in the right thigh.The brothers ran to a tavern in the 700 block of Belle and phoned police.The pair was taken to St. Joseph's Hospital in Alton, where the slugs were removed.
