The charges grew out of the death nt Harold Grotty, San Jofg glass company manager, in a Bay share highway accident in San Mateo last Christmas eve.Under llie present, law it is difficult to obtain a jury conviction in felony cases arising out of automobile deaths, ntthough the ovi-l dcnce may point strongly to the: guilt of the accused, Dematteissatd.The stole hoard of equalization agent's $1000 bail was exonerated by the court.
